The Pre-Construction Walkthrough

It is mandatory that your Sales Consultant, the Production Manager, your assigned Project Manager and you (the homeowner/s) attend the pre-construction meeting. This is where your project will be discussed in detail and your Sales Consultant hands over the project to the Project Manager. It is important for you to express any concerns or questions regarding your project. This is the very best time for us to help you understand how your project will progress.

In an effort to maintain communication throughout the project, an issue we consider very important, we have a "clipboard" system in place. This system is designed as a backup for you and your Project Manager when phone contact is delayed; e.g., telephone tag.

At any time you or your Project Manager has a question it can be written on the clipboard and answered or reviewed when either party becomes available. This will aid both parties in also remembering earlier questions and/or concerns, provide a good record of progress, and will help us serve you in a more timely fashion.

If your questions/issues are not addressed by the Project Manager, then you can call your Construction Manager. If you are still not satisfied, next contact your Sales Consultant.

A major reason for having this walkthrough is to prevent any unwritten promises. It is not uncommon for some homeowners to remember items promised to them by other remodeling contractors they spoke with prior to choosing Bobo Custom Builders. Please make sure that everything you expect to get is in writing. It should be noted on the blueprints, specifications sheet and contract. Any work not included in all three in writing will be considered extra work for which additional charges will be made to you.
